David Seidman, M.D.

Dr. Seidman has practiced in Northern Virginia for over 20 years and has extensive experience in pediatric
ophthalmology. He is routinely listed as a "top doctor.” Dr. Seidman is a magna cum laude graduate of Brown University and
received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following ophthalmology residency and
pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital, Dr. Seidman began practice in Northern Virginia. He has authored several
chapters and original scientific articles in the field of pediatric ophthalmology. Dr. Seidman developed the current ophthalmology program for the neonatal initiative core unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. His areas of recognized expertise include amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus, neonatal ophthalmology and ROP, blocked tear ducts, and congenital ocular abnormalities.
